Guy Chesebrough fell while hauling corn last fall and injured his shoulder. He initially thought rheumatism was to blame, but a doctor visit last Saturday revealed the shoulder had been out of place. Death of Mrs Kummerer After Prolonged Illness
Mrs Gustave Kummerer died Friday at 5 15 PM, one and a half miles north of town, after a cancer illness following an operation in Toledo in August. She was born March 2 1860 in Baden Germany and came to the United States in spring 1882. Survived by ten children, husband, six grandchildren, a brother Amil Mott and sister Catherine Mott. Interment in St Marys cemetery after Requiem High Mass.

Exhibits included grain fruit vegetables and stock photographs with literature promising opportunities in Ohio. Sponsored by the New York Central Railroad and the state board of agriculture the car aimed to deter migration westward and to persuade residents that Ohio offers ample prospects.

Carey Council Adopts Building Moving Ordinance
At the Carey council meeting last Monday, members including Mayor Laughlin and Clerk Anguy approved salaries and paid bills totaling $30.50 into the treasury.
