Pre School Clinic Dates Announced in Wyandot County

Dr. H B Hathaway announces Wyandot County pre school clinics with dates in Carey March 26 and Our Lady of Conso lation School April 9. Vanlue Tile Works expands with Seneca Concrete Purchase

Frank Kitchel owner of Vanlue Tile Works announces the purchase of Seneca Concrete Products from the Shumway estate in Tiffin. The plant on Hopewell Center Road south of Bascom will become Vanlue Tile Plant No. 2 with production starting March 15. Vern A. Hart will be production manager based near Tiffin. Bobby Hendricks of Vanlue will manage the adjoining farm elevator shop.

Nutshell Cafeteria Menu and Latin I Club Meeting

Conservation League Donates to Scout Troops and Arbor Day

The Carey Conservation League gave $20 on March 1 to four Boy Scout troops and $5 to Carey High School Arbor Day program for a total of $25. Each Scout troop—Lutheran, Methodist, Catholic and Explorer—receives $5. The league aims for larger future gifts as membership grows.

Mary Mericle Celebrates 90th Birthday in Grover Hill

The 90th birthday of Mrs Mary Mericle was observed Sunday at her son Charles Mericle's home at 340 Grove Street Grover Hill. She was born March 3 1868 in Allen County Indiana and moved to Ohio at age 13. She has four living sons two deceased daughters fifteen grandchildren and thirty eight great grandchildren. Her late husband Noah Mericle and a sister survive.

American Legion Celebrating Birthday Observance

The American Legion and its Auxiliary will mark the 39th anniversary of the founding from March 15 to 17 with a Sunday 6 o'clock dinner at Our Lady of Consolation School auditorium.
