The Carey High School expansion adds a 55 by 54 foot irregularly shaped library with room for about 6 000 volumes. The industrial arts department builds fixtures including shelves counters work room and stacks costing an estimated 1 500. Que Room Grand Opening At Bowl-Era Lanes
The Que Room billiard annex at Bowl-Era Bowling Lanes opens today March 5 and runs through March 15. Owners Mr and Mrs Edgar B Keller announce a 21 by 50 foot facility with one 5 by 10 foot professional table and three others. Local contractors Snyder Lumber Co Boyce and Son Richardson Electric James Troiano and Paul Van Dusen built the setup. Three prizes will be awarded at 10 p.m. March 15 to close the event.

Lon Phillips sells Elm Hill Farm to Gottfried brothers
Mr and Mrs Lon Phillips sell their 87 acre farm half a mile south of Carey on Elm Hill Road to Kenneth and Richard Gottfried of Salem township. Mrs. Martha Hood sold the Carey Nursing Home at 127 Bray ton Street to Mrs. Lovina Aldred of Findlay. Aldred took possession February 27, with Hood staying on until Saturday.
