John Steele Dies at 85 in City Residence
John Steele died last Saturday morning at Dr. J. D. Southward's residence in the city aged 85 years 3 months and 7 days. He had lived with Dr. Southward for several years and helped raise Mrs. Southward's mother. The remains were taken to Braeburn Pa for burial, accompanied by Dr. and Mrs. Southward. A brief funeral service was held led by Rev. J. I. Wean of the M. E. church.
