Hen Sits Nine Eggs On Carrier Wagon In Town
Leo Courtad, a city carrier, started his storm wagon for Route 1. A white hen unexpectedly perched on the wagon and began setting on a nest of nine eggs at the corner across from Simonis grocery. The hen was a visiting bird, Leo does not keep chickens.

Advance agent and three assistants toured town late last week billing Davis Bros show for Carey and vicinity.
