The 16th Annual Con vention Findlay District Ep worth League met at the 1st Methodist Episcopal Church in Carey with a full two day program. Delegates gathered for morning sessions including readings sermons devotional talks and assignments followed by an afternoon slate featuring recitals sermons and committee work. A letter from North Dakota writer I B Schade described climate stock losses and farming life with statistics and local industry notes.
Evening session details include reports of committees and the election of officers at the Ada university gathering. A 6 10 recitation precedes the main program. The 7 00 musical and literary contest features Rev. W S Culp as chairman.

A large alumni gathering last Friday celebrated the class of 1907 at the New Galt House parlors. President Arden Lea welcomed graduates, with musical selections from Zenith Montague Lulu Post and the High School quartet, and a witty address by W. J. Newbard. Out-of-town guests included Ralph Dow Haines Van Fleet Miss Kenney Toledo Miss Wibler Bluitton and Miss Harriett Lea Tit tin.
Will Build W. HH. Houk has secured the contract to erect a five room dwelling on Brown Avenue on the lot east of the W. J. Newbird property with W. A. Perkins handling the construction contract.
