Logsdon Family Reunion Held at Water Works Park
The Catherine Logsdon family held its second annual reunion on Thursday July 24 at Water Works Park Carey with 81 members present. After a noon dinner and a business meeting the old officers were retained. A program of recitations and singing followed with amusing contests and prizes. Ice cream and lunch were served before departures. Nine births and two deaths occurred in the year.

Buckeye Ditcher Delivered To Albertlee Farms Minnesota
A massive Buckeye Traction Ditcher, one of the largest ever built, has been completed and loaded on three flatcars for shipment to Albertlee Farms in Albertlee, Minnesota. The 370 ton machine, 55 feet long and 32 feet wide, excavates 120 by 6 feet trenches with a 12 inch bottom and can cut a half mile in a ten hour day. Three men staff the unit, housed with living quarters including kitchen and bath, plus electric stacker and lighting.
