A Y M C A boys camp runs August 9 to 16 on Charles Neate’s farm, one half mile east and north of Upper Sandusky. Open to county boys aged 14 to 18 of good character. no membership required. Camp offers swimming fishing hiking games and campfires with a program combining work play and profits. Carey Road Improvement Plans From Lovell to Carey
The state will upgrade nearly six miles of Carey road from Lovell to Carey this fall. The waterbound macadam with asphaltic concrete surface will be built to a standard similar to the Tiffin road north of Kilbourne road. Works cover Salem and Crawford townships. will be sixteen feet wide and 5.39 minutes long. Bids open August 10 at the county commissioners office and the project should finish by December 31.

Funeral of Mrs Jacoby Held At Two Churches
Funeral services for Mrs Mary Jacoby were well attended last Saturday. Rev Aloys M Fish presided at Our Lady of Consolation Church with Rev Englebert Eichenlaub delivering the sermon. The procession proceeded to St Nicholas Church Frenchtown where Rev Bugster celebrated the requiem. Burial followed beside her husband Michael Jacoby in the church cemetery. Pallbearers were sons William Joseph and John Jacoby and grandsons Edward Arend Gerald Jacoby and Raymond Lonsway. Attending from afar were Peter Jacoby of Van Wert Joseph Siebenauer of Akron and D Gengler of Delphos.
