Rabies Cat Leads to Pasteur Institute Request in Wyandot County

Neighbors Rally To Harvest Wheat For Disabled Farmer

Boy Is Hurt In Barn Accident At Pratt Station

Last Sunday Fred Pratt, son of Mr. and Mrs. Minton Pratt at Pratt's Station, fell while climbing a rope with a ladder. He fractured his left arm near the shoulder and elbow, a second crack noted, and Dr. Sheldon from Houcktown set the fracture.

Old Clock Passed Through Generations From Lytle Family

The clock, over a century old with wooden wheels, moved from Samuel Lytle to W OH Lytle via his father. It was originally brought to Crawfordsville by Mr Hixon, who held it for more than twenty years and kept it as an old clock. Manufactured by Williams Orlen Preston Co in Farrington Connecticut, PF Pradger cleaned it and found it in good condition and keeping time.

Lightning Kills Mrs. Henry Smith at Pleasant Home Church

A missionary meeting at Pleasant Home church near Lemert ended as a storm raged. Mrs. Henry Smith stood under a chandelier talking with the pastor when lightning struck the belfry and descended, killing her instantly as others nearby escaped unharmed.
