The 36 by 50 foot brick structure will use Stief building blocks and include five air chambers with capacity for 25 000 bushels. Company B Heads to Toledo Encampment Under Phelps
Company B left yesterday morning for the Toledo encampment under Captain Walter Phelps and 1st Lieutenant Roy Culler. Claude Beitler earned a commission as 2nd Lieutenant and joined the unit on the train via the Hocking Valley. Forty seven men traveled by Findlay and Ohio Central routes, welcomed by Major Wallace as the regiment gathered with Tillin’s company at Findlay and Welker.
