John F Hostler of Mt Blanchard Died at 84
John F Hostler of Mt Blanchard died July 11 1919 at age 84 after nine weeks in Careys home suffering bronchitis and infirmities. Funeral services were held at the Garn house and Mt Blanchard Methodist church with Rev Spaid delivering the sermon. He is survived by his children forty five grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. He was born in York county Pennsylvania July 4 1835 and moved to near Findlay as a child. He had two marriages first to Catherine Neff and second to Margaret Hitler. He is also survived by one sister Mrs Lucinda Pennell of Van Wert.

Motorized Home Visit Ties Long Lost Cousins
Mr and Mrs A J Craey and son Clarence of St James Ohio and Mr Rose Mills of Vian Okla motored to Carey Sunday and were supper guests at the home of cousins Mr and Mrs Jess Hart. Hart and Mills had not seen each other for forty years. The party also visited Chas Hart in Fostoria who was very ill after an appendicitis operation in a Toledo hospital but is now recovered.

Rus sel Zimmerman of near Tiffin is forced to walk in a field for four hours after his hand gets caught in a binder. He cried out but was ignored and could not stop the horses that moved about the field. He grew exhausted before a farm hand found him at dinner time.
