Stanley Hall Takes Over Wyandot Credit Bureau

Mr. Stanley Hall of Upper Sandusky takes over the Wyandot Credit Bureau from former owner A W Sebonder. Hall will have full charge and continue his investigator work. Miss Priscilla Jane Wilkerson becomes office manager overseeing Upper Sandusky offices. The bureau already serves most Wyandot county businesses and plans a broad membership drive.

Serious Car Crash Leaves Hillsdale Pair Injured

Mrs. Cora Leffler of Hillsdale Michigan reports an auto wreck five weeks ago that injured her cousin Mrs. B M Bachar and her daughter Mrs. Russell Johnson. Mrs. Johnson suffered a broken pelvis and remains in hospital while Mr. Johnson escaped unhurt. The Lefflers, formerly Miss Wanda Leffler, frequently visit Carey and are well known here.

Fire Destroys Dry Shed on Sutphen Property

A sheep shed on the Sutphen property near Findlay and Late streets caught fire around 6:00 Saturday evening. The Carey fire department responded, damp corn fodder inside produced heavy smoke, but the blaze caused little damage after extinguishment.

Mrs Ray Kahley obituary in Mechanicsburg native of Wharton

Mrs Ray Kahley of Mechanicburg died Tuesday evening at McKitrick hospital Hinseton where she had been a patient for two weeks. The body was taken to Bristol's funeral home. Her maiden name was Eula Gatchell and she was a native of Wharton.

Boy Survives Fall from Fast Moving Car

Judson Huston five year old son of Mr and Mrs Vernon Huston of E Findlay street narrowly escaped serious injuries Saturday evening June 23 when he fell from his father's automobile traveling about 60 miles an hour. He rolled along the pavement sustaining bruises cuts and a minor head bruise but immediately rose and chased the car. A new suit and shoes were ruined.

A 644-pound daughter named Melb lien Louise was born to Mr and Mrs Raymond Lamberjack four miles northwest of Carey and baptized at Our Lady of Consolation Church. Sponsors included grandmother Mrs V Lamberjack and uncle Gerald Lamberjack. A daughter Pamela Ann arrived June 23 to Mr and Mrs Gaylord Patterson of W Findlay Street, baptized June 24 with Rev Joseph Herp officiating. Another daughter Shirley Ann was born to Mr and Mrs Howard Vermillion one mile west of Carey. An 8-pound son Danny Ellsworth was born Saturday in Grant Hospital Columbus to Mr and Mrs Tom Lowery of that city. Mrs Lowery was Mildred Tanner before marriage.

J. O. Armbruster of Findlay former Carey resident purchases the Stoll and Gaster welding shop and will operate at the same N Vance street location in the old town hall building. He previously worked at Carey plant of National Lime and Stone Co from 1927 to 1929 and since then with Buckeye Ditcher in Findlay. Clifford Stoll remains with Buckeye Ditcher Co in Findlay and Maurice Gaster works for National Lime and Stone Co.
