J T Longabaugh secretary of Wyandot County invites every boy under twenty to prove himself the best livestock judge at the annual Upper Sandusky fair September 17 to 19. Cattle hogs and sheep will be judged with top prizes and expert judging from Columbus College of Agriculture staff.

Mrs May Payton nee McGuire of Muskogee Oklahoma is visiting her uncle Fred Chambers and family in San Antonio Texas after twenty two years. Mr Chambers, formerly of the local city, was located in San Antonio where he ran a restaurant for sixteen years and married there. He is a landowner with two daughters. San Antonio impresses her with its climate fruits and diverse population including Mexican Spanish and Polish residents.

Corner Stone Laying At Beech Grove United Brethren Church Begun
The laying of the corner stone for Beech Grove United Brethren Church occurred Sunday at two o clock in the new structure. Rev W Z Roberts led services with Rev C D Moore and Rev D W Downey assisting. A large crowd attended. $600 was raised with many gifts. The church, five miles southwest of Carey in Richland township, will seat 180 and cost about 7000 dollars with 1000 in volunteer labor.
