City Council Meeting Approves Salaries and Bills
The city council met Monday night with Mayor Wonder and officials present. Salaries and usual bills were approved. Various service and supply payments were recorded, including labor, freight, printing, and coal costs. John Stahl sought sidewalk porch permission at Herbert's Bakery on Vance Street. no action taken. Council adjourned to meet July 18.

Funeral for Peter Will Held at 4 PM
Peter Will, a long time contractor and builder, aged 77, will be buried at Bellevue, Ohio after a service at his Linwood Avenue home. He built the Great Eastern and the original Electric elevators and the Kammathouse project. Survived by wife, son William E Will, and daughter Mrs Frederick J Weber.

Sycamore Booster Party Visits Carey For Chautauqua

Former Champaign pastor preaches in Findlay visit
Rev F RB Herbert of Champaign Illinois former Lutheran church pastor for almost twenty years ago preached last Sunday forenoon. A large congregation attended though advance notice was brief. He was accompanied by Mrs Herbert and traveled from Findlay with Mr and Mrs W L Carlin. The pastor served eight years and did a great work for the church.

Family sets course for Los Angeles by way of Chicago and Portland

Carey opens Great White Way with electric lights parade
A large orderly crowd celebrated Carey’s Great White Way new electric lighting. National Guards aided traffic and police while decorators swathed lamp posts in national colors.
