Rehearsals for the high school operetta Pickles are under way with cast and date to be announced. On Monday evening director Mr Holloway was honored at a party by the junior and senior bands and parents as the band performed selections for their guests.

Students held Temperance Day last Friday in an assembly. Speakers Mr. Fouts and Jack Tracy addressed Marijuana and Alcohol. The orchestra, directed by Mr. Holloway, performed selections.

A Carey library gathering outlined a two day community institute to be held at the high school February 24 and 25 with sessions talks and local talent exhibits.
