Fourteenth Annual Carey Farmers Institute Highlights Corn Song and Lectures
The Fourteenth Annual Independent Farmers Institute of Crary featured a villagewide turnout for afternoon sessions and music throughout. Lectures by E M Biddinger and M Biddinger covered fertilizer use, drainage and soil care, onion and dairy topics, with emphasis on soil conservation and practical farming education. A contest offering fifty dollars for the best corn per acre motivated youth, while committees nominated officers and resolutions urged school survey discussions with Representative Black.
