Rare German Bible Brought By Wentz Family to Local Exhibit
Henry Wentz of Muncie Street shared a 350 to 400 year old German Bible at the Times office. The relic, brought to America 170 years ago by Wentz’s great grandfather, has wood engravings, a heavy hand-tooled leather binding, brass corner pieces and a priceless value to the family.

Fire damages Findlay home. closet fire risk noted
About 1000 o clock Sunday night neighbors found the Findlay home of W W Schwartz ablaze. The family was in the living room below stairs when the fire spread, badly damaging the house despite neighbor and fire department efforts. Cause undetermined but suspected to have started in an upstairs closet. Had the family been in bed, escape could have been cut off.
