Miss Myrtle Crawford Married in Findlay

Miss Myrtle Crawford wife of Charles W. Smith was married in a St John’s Lutheran parsonage ceremony officiated by Rev S D Myers. The bride daughter of Mrs Mary Crawford of West Front street Carey Ohio and the groom son of Mrs Man Comeanile of Gealotes Ohio. Attendants were Mr and Mrs C C Thome of Carey. The couple will reside in Flint Michigan after a short wedding trip.

Funeral of Mrs Kitzler Réquiem Held at Our Lady Consolation

Funeral services for Mrs Frank Kitzler were conducted with a requiem mass at Our Lady of Consolation church. Rev Lawrence presided. Burial followed in St. Marys cemetery north of town with six sons and three sons-in-law as pallbearers. Numerous local and out of town relatives sent flowers and spiritual bouquets.

Not Guilty Declared for Accused Bill Passer

Everett Stoll of Carey Ohio was found not guilty in federal court after a two hour jury deliberation on charges of passing raised five dollar bills to twenty dollar bills. He testified he did not know the money was not genuine and said it stemmed from a loan. Witnesses including George Ash and others supported his defense.

Poultry Short Course Planned at Local High School

A poultry course organized by the local department of agriculture at the high school runs for about 10 to 12 weeks. It begins Tuesday night January 17 at 8 PM in the school building with weekly meetings. Topics include breeding feeding baby chick care post mortem and diseases, plus basket ball and radio programs as added attractions. Ladies are invited as many are poultry raisers on farms.

Lutheran Mission Society Plans Bake Sale at Rest Room

The Woman's Home and Foreign Missionary Society of the Lutheran church met at the parish house with Mrs. I. L. Culler presiding. Devotions led by Mrs. Anna Snyder and Miss May Mullholand guided the mission study on The Story of Missions. A bake sale was set for January 28 at the rest room.
