Furnace damage delays Methodist church services
The furnace grate at the Methodist church failed this Sunday delaying worship. Until a new grate is secured, heating cannot be restored and services planned for this week are deferred. The church expects several days for repairs.
City Council Votes and Office Oath at Monday Meeting
At the meeting Monday night council members Angus clerk Kurtz Johnson Brown and Dunlap presided in mayor's absence after the oath of office was given to councilman elect Dunlap who was absent last week. Reports show bills paid including library services gas oil and salaries plus the fire department elected Ben Kitzlett as chief for two years and the clerk administered the oath to Kitzler. The council approved the first reading of the 1912 half year appropriations ordinance.

Funeral Attended for Mrs Davlin at Forest
