Wilford J. Clouse, S 1/c R M, received an honorable discharge on February 20 after three years in the navy on submarine patrol duty. Pfc. Victor R. Conley has been honorably discharged after 81 months of service with 19 months overseas in England France Belgium and Holland. He was wounded in the right hand by shrapnel in the Battle of the Bulge and later wounded in the left forefinger. He returned to the United States February 16 and was discharged at Indiantown Gap Pa, arriving the next day at his parents home at 423 West North Street.
