The Wyandot county basketball tournament at the YMCA in Upper Sandusky drew a large crowd though Carey fared poorly. Wyandot Pioneer Peter Swihart Dies At 98
Peter Manuel Swihart aged 98, a longtime Wyandot reservation settler near Little Sandusky, who arrived in the area in the 1850s, died on February 20. His son J a hosted a Sunday gathering with seven children, 12 grandchildren, and two great grandchildren present for a family dinner and celebrations.

Prof and Mrs C W Pflueger and their son John from Los Vandos Philippine Islands arrive in Carey for a long visit with Mr and Mrs C F Pflueger and relatives. They traveled 38 days, 22 by ocean, on leave until August 31. They plan to visit Mrs Pflueger's relatives in Roberts Illinois and Seattle. John was born on the Islands two and a half years ago.
