Ada defeated Carey 54 to 37 in a high scoring senior night clash. Zahn scored 24 for Ada while Buckingham led Carey with 18. Carey was behind early, and the Reserves lost 29 to 18 to Upper Sandusky in a previous tilt. The Swing Band adopted Sophisticats as their theme for a Friday dance and a metal drive fundraiser drew many students. Virginia Ritter reports.

Clarinetist Joe Newhard to play with Wesleyan Concert Band

Carey Merchants Victims of Bad Check Artist
Two local Carey merchants fell prey to a bad check artist who cashed two $10 checks from The Peoples Bank Co. The instruments bore signatures of Mrs J W Peterson and endorsements by R A Peterson.
