Brothers in collision engine twins escape serious harm
Two Burson brothers, veteran engineers on the C T S division, met head on in foggy yard conditions near Schneider while switching trains. Both engines throttled down to under six mph, they warned each other, and a collision caused only minor damage as crews emerged unharmed and exchanged a handshake.

Funeral for Mrs. Elmer Dering at United Evangelical Church
The funeral for Mrs. Elmer Dering who died in a Tuesday afternoon fire was held Friday at 2:00 P M at United Evangelical Church. Rev W Elmer Bailey officiated with M M Rader of Canton assisting. Interment followed in Spring Grove cemetery. Out of town attendees came from Fostoria Alliance Bluffton Findlay Van Wert Leipsic Sidney and Vanlue.

Lydia Rickenbaugh Ulsh born September 24 1829 died January 2 1910 aged 80 years 19 days. Survived by husband Henry Ulsh seven children all living Alice Wonder Rose Col Irvin Ulsh Virs Rose Arnold Bindlay Caroline D Li Snowden Andrews Willis B Findlay Mary Bright Findlay Aura Moore Findlay. Two sisters and two brothers survive. Fifteen grandchildren one great grandchild. Devoted Bible student church member Findlay First United Brethren. Renowned for piety neighborly help and maternal character. She will be missed by family church and friends.

News reached here Sunday that Valentine Henige suffered a stroke at his home in Saginaw Michigan. His condition is critical. His sons Thomas of Lovell and Peter of Toledo traveled Sunday night to be with him. Mr. Henige is in his eightieth year.
