Death of E M Burson Spawns Community's Mourning
The community mourns the sudden death of E M Burson at 5:00 AM Tuesday at his home on E South street Apoplexy was the cause. He was 78. An 18-year-old Dayton youth seeks 10 000 in a common pleas court jury trial alleging he was detained and humiliated for an hour by Cecil Auranme Ernest Zeurcher Malon McDaniel Arthur Die Harlow Decker J A Foster and G D Dennis on a highway near New Stark July 21 1928. Defendants say the detention was to aid a bank robbery search and he was released after identity was confirmed.

Mrs Lena Margaret Martz Long died Monday at 1 30 PM at her West street home after six weeks with dropsy. She was born February 19 1874 in Carey and married Frank Long May 1 1899. Truck Disables Trailer West of Town
A Suburban Transfer Line truck carrying 13 tons of concrete steel from Marion to Toledo was disabled Tuesday afternoon one and a half miles west of town after a second trailer lost a tire and the rim wore into a hexagon, blocking the grade.
