After a vocal solo by Mrs Jay Newhard, Rev Roy B Leedy delivered a sermonette on Missions and the offering supported mission work in Japan.

Carey Institute plans advance in Wyandot County
Wendell Wentling, William Pontius, T. D. Arnold and Henry Davidson attended a county meeting in Upper Sandusky to map the 1938 Carey Institute. The event will run February 18 and 19 with speakers Mrs. W. S. Ferguson of Lexington and John Grierson of Hillsboro. The program follows a similar format to prior years to conserve travel costs and keep talent within the county. The 1937 institute funded a $30 donation to Red Cross flood relief and a Saturday night program drew strong church and grange interest for copies and repeat performances.

Ladder fall injures workers at Wild Rose Beauty shop
