Institute Opens Friday Morning
The community institute begins Friday with six sessions over two days. Aimed at Carey and area residents, volunteers organized exhibits and programs with premiums that reward participation. Saturday night features the High School Orchestra, readings by Mrs. J A Vaughn and Clara Laws, two one act plays, and a variety of acts to appeal to all ages. Admission to one session only. adults 26 cents, children 10 cents.

Trees Bought For New Park At Our Lady Shrine
Gust Wunderlin of Carey Greenhouses bought a carload of elm trees from Storrs and Harrison in Painesville to line the circular driveway planned by Dunn and Roller at the 30 acre Our Lady of Consolation Shrine grounds. About 250 trees ship around March 15.

Bees Family Moves From Farm To Town Residence
Mr and Mrs F X Bees moved Wednesday from their northeast of town farm to their home on S Muncie street. Their son in law and daughter Mr and Mrs Harley Lowery of near Tiffin will occupy the farm. Dr Henry Beebe Dies at 89 in Sidney
Miss Edith Beebe and relatives traveled to Sidney after the death of Dr Henry Beebe aged 89 on Friday. He had been in failing health. Funeral services were held the following Sunday with relatives E C Hoff and Robt Hoff attending from Carey Detroit and elsewhere.
