Re dedication and fiftieth anniversary of Carey Lutheran church
Final services mark the re dedication and fiftieth anniversary of the Christ Evangelical Lutheran church in Carey Ohio. Rev W G Laughbaum of Nevada preached Thursday night and Rev F B Heibert of Plymouth spoke Friday with a look back at past achievements and new improvements. Letters from former pastors and a history of the church were read. The edifice, praised for modern equipment, hosted Junior and mixed choirs with local quartets.

The Fostoria Times reports Representative Anderson of the Thirteenth Oho district has a bill to stamp rubber boots overshoes and other rubber goods with quality grades similar to the pure food and drug act. The aim is to end overpricing of low grade items and set first second and third class prices by grade.
