A. B. Chance Company plans a 1960 engineering research center at its Centralia headquarters to unify laboratories testing offices and facilities for product research. Groundbreaking is planned for April with partial use by year end. The center will serve plants in Pittsburgh Parkersburg Carey San Francisco and Toronto.

Carey Conservation Sportsman Association held its first annual meeting on Sunday January 31 at the Eagles Hall with strong attendance.
