Funeral for John Edward Scott Held at St Mary’s Church
Solomon Krupp attended the funeral of John Edward Scott who died at his parents home from Bright's disease at age 24. The service was at 8 30 a m at St Mary’s Catholic church and burial followed in St Joseph’s cemetery in Tiffin last Thursday.

Crossman Sets Iowa Highway Crossing Record in Hupmobile
Wm H. Crossman of Ogden Iowa and C J Rose completed the Lincoln Highway run from Clinton to Council Bluffs covering 389 miles in ten hours and four minutes averaging 38.48 miles per hour. The feat used a Model N Hupmobile with first second and reverse gears removed. The previous record of 38.2 mph was held by Hal Wells.
