Obituary of Civil War Veteran Jonathan Harshberger
Jonathan Harshberger died at his Wharton home Sunday after months with cancer. Born February 26 184, he was 63 years 10 months and 11 days old. A Civil War veteran with Co K 2nd O V I, he belonged to G A R and Knights of Pythias, attended Christian Union church. Survived by wife Eveline Brown two children I B Harshberger and Mrs Peter Kauble, brother Thomas Cardington and Elmer Harshberger, sisters Mrs Samuel Kennerley and Mrs Mary Rhinestudler. Funeral held Tuesday at Wharton Methodist church at ten in the forenoon.
