Train Strikes Truck At N Y C Crossing In Reading
At 1 30 p m Tuesday a New York Central passenger train No 112 struck a truck at the South Street grade crossing in Reading. The driver Charles Ross of Coshocton failed to stop the truck before the baggage car. The truck operated for Ward E Manning was demolished and relief driver Lawrence Parley was badly injured.
