The American Legion Earl Green Post 344 bought the former Soda Grill on East Findlay St in Carey Ohio on December 12 1966. After remodeling the group aims to occupy by February 1967 with a fully equipped kitchen for activities. The Twentieth Century Veterans group will sell the South Vance St building from the twenties. Two Accidents Investigated Last Week
Two traffic incidents from December were investigated. Linda Row swerved to avoid a car on South Street and hit a parked vehicle owned by Frederick Williams, causing $400 damage to Row and $350 to Williams. No charges. Virginia Beckley failed to stop at a stop sign on Patterson Street and collided with Zenith McLarkey’s car, causing $25 and $75 damages respectively. No charges.
