Mrs. Simon Wietcher of northeast of Carey is to have major surgery this afternoon at Findlay hospital where she has been a patient since Saturday. Charles Kimn of West Findlay Street injured his right knee in a farm accident and underwent surgery Tuesday evening at Findlay hospital. Also noted are apprenticeship with Free Scourse at a barber shop on South Patterson Street by Tony Troiano, a recent Toledo Barber College graduate.
Oren Allen Jr and Rita Opp, both listed with parents, appear in marriage license notices. James G Campbell and Hilda Carey Collins are noted with parental lines. Betty Breski of Sycamore files for divorce from Martin Breski of Columbus on gross neglect of duty.
The final hearing on the reports and schedules for the Downing county ditch, prepared by Paul Riedel, was held before the board of commissioners on December 12. The commissioners affirmed their formal order, confirmed assessments, and ordered the letting of the contract for the remaining construction of the proposed improvement.
