City Council Okays Crossing Damages for National Street
At a Monday meeting the council approved paying $816.54 in damages and costs from a probate case condemning Big Four, Northern Ohio, and Hocking Valley railroads land for a National street crossing near the Porcelain factory. Damages totaled $550 plus $191.54 court costs and $75 lawyer fees. The council decided not to appeal to the court of common pleas.
