Charles Bentz of west of Carey has been named manager of the Singer Sewing Center at Ft. Findlay Village Shopping Center. He replaces P H Reynolds who becomes district manager for nine stores including Findlay. Bentz, a Tiffin native, was assistant manager at Findlay Center for 18 months. He and his wife Helen Hess of Tiffin have two daughters, Laura and Dee. The family may move to Findlay soon. Bentz is active in Carey JayCees Knights of Columbus and Our Lady of Consolation Church.

Morrs E. Alston vice president of Public Affairs urged the Ohio General Assembly to act quickly on apportioning Ohio congressional districts at the Federation meeting in Columbus on December 7. He said the decision should rest with the General Assembly not a Federal Court and urged support for a $5 motor vehicle license fee with county action by July 1, 1968.
