A Frederick Street driver 66-year-old Branch Barnett pulled from Dible alley behind Keckler's Tavern and struck Officer Paul F. Pahl's cruiser. The cruiser hit a parked Rymer auto. damages listed as Barnett 10, cruiser 300, Rymer 50. Barnett cited for no license and failing to yield. To Retain 50 Employees At Hardeman Plant
The Hardeman plant, once the Raybrook Hydraulic Division of L A Young, will keep more than 50 workers as manufacturing ends at the Truck and Construction Equipment Division. Put Christ Back In Christmas In Elwood Indiana Window Bibles
A church led an effort to display Bibles opened to the Nativity in store windows during December to keep Christ in Christmas. Lt. Dotson To Be Buried Friday
Funeral services for St. William A. Dotson set for 2 p.m. Friday at Christ Lutheran Church with burial in Springs Grove Cemetery. The Rev. George E. Cressman will officiate, assisted by Rev. Paul Paetznick. Dotson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Monroe Dotson of N. Muncie Street, was killed November 27 in a Naval patrol plane crash near Kodiak Alaska. Carey council weighs water pollution talks and tank inspections
William Johnson, disposal plant manager, arranged a meeting of Water Pollution Controllers to be held in Carey on Tuesday December 8. Investigating Purchase Chairman Fagley read a letter about an oil well near Carey from a widow in Hollywood who bought a May 1964 share. The council will investigate. Tank inspections for two water tanks were debated with a 425 annual test and a proposed contract to cover both tanks.
