The Wyandot County Prince of Peace contest will be held Sunday evening December 13 at 7 45 at Trinity Evangelical church in Upper Sandusky. Rev M J Temple will preside with Eleanor Krout of Carey entering and four other local winners competing Lewis Reber Martha Ellis Richard Nederhauser and Bar Monroe. The county winner earns a silver medal and advances to the congressional district contest in January with progression to the state contest in February where the final winner receives a four year free college scholarship and $200 cash.

Fostorian Arrested on Fraud Charges
Robert Guthrie of Fostoria was held in the county jail on two counts of fraud after a complaint filed in Justice Ward Arbogast court in Tiffin. He is accused of defrauding O. H. Riehm of $25 on junk purchases. A similar charge filed by a Carey resident is pending in Wyandot County Justice court.
