Mrs D H Wonder Dies After Long Illness at West Main Home
Friday afternoon at about 5:00 o clock Mrs D H Wonder died at her West Main street home after a long illness. She was born September 25 1849 in Licking county and married David H Wonder October 12 1869. Funeral services were held Monday at 1:00 PM at the residence with Pastor E Luther Spaid officiating. Interment followed in Spring Grove cemetery. Pallbearers were George Ash H Z Bland Jacob Stief Byron Ogg C M Wenner and David Heck. Surviving children are B B Kurutz, W J Galbroner, and Homer Wonder. two grandchildren are William Hiles and Homer Galbroner. one brother R J Higgins also survives. Mrs Wonder was a Lutheran and member of the Eastern Star. Gratlisrd chapter attended the funeral.

Autos Collide in Snow Flurries Near Nine Oaks
Foster Shumaker of Upper Sandusky drove a Ford south when it struck a Reo owned by Mrs. M. A. Straw of this city driven by her daughter Mrs. B. L. Wallace of Marion. Both vehicles damaged. Mrs. Straw and Mrs. Wallace uninjured. Frank Shumaker of Upper Sandusky and son suffered a cut on the nose. Foster Shumaker injured hands. The accident occurred near Nine Oaks during snow.

Businessman Edward Marks Fined 1000 for Dual Liquor Violations
In Tiffin a raid uncovered three stills in Edward Marks basement. Judge Dillon imposed two fines of 1000 each for liquor law violations. Federal agents described the operation as the most complete home still setup found in the state. About eighty gallons of liquor and several mash barrels were seized.
