The Wharton Senior Class will present a three act comedy Father Be Calm in the high school auditorium on Tuesday Dec 8 at 8 o clock. Lead roles include Franklin Falk Audrey Bell Russell Deersam Joan Beck with supporting casts Helen Stansberg Mary Bees Sharon Murray and others. Directed by Dennis Bell the play is hailed as an outstanding Wharton Senior High production.

Couple Escapes After Car Rolls On Icy Route 53
Mr and Mrs John Drummond of 456 Frederick Street were treated at Mercy Hospital Tiffin for injuries from a late Thursday automobile accident two miles south of Tiffin on snow covered Route 53. Mrs Drummond drove, suffering a head bump and bruised shoulder while her husband sustained a strained neck. Deputy Huffman Seneca county said the car skidded on ice, rolled onto its top in the left ditch, and was removed by a Tiffin wrecker.

Makeshift bobsled group shares ride near Wharton
