Snyder Lumber Company announced a new service offering pre built wall panels and roof trusses to area builders. Bill Wenner said the firm now has facilities to construct prefab sections, shortening construction and close up time, with three men currently working in a new building for this purpose. An open house explained the system to local builders.

The documentary depicted life in San Francisco's Tenderloin area and the effects of marijuana heroin LSD on minds and bodies. Mrs Marie Anna Heiser 89, formerly of Terre Haute Indiana, died Friday night November 27 1970 at St Francis Home for the Aged where she lived five years. Born in Verl Germany March 2 1881 she married Frank J Heiser in 1907. Survived by son Basil M Heiser stationed in Rome. Services held November 30 at St Francis Chapel and December 1 at St Benedicts Terre Haute burial Calvary Cemetery.
