Village approves Seagraves fire equipment contract
The village council at a special meeting on August 5 awarded a $7,704.25 contract to Seagraves Co. of Columbus for a 600 gallon booster pumper truck, 8 passenger cab, over drive, 400 ft of 1 1 2 in hose with fog nozzles. Crawford township signs three year fire protection deal for 4000 dollars plus 500 a year thereafter. Delivery expected by November 1.

Upper Sandusky Woman Killed in Accident
Mrs. Minnie Zimmerman Meinzer of Upper Sandusky died Friday night after being struck by a Ford Tudor sedan driven by Thomas Miller at Crawford street and S Sandusky Avenue. The death followed injuries including a broken leg and fractured temple. Funeral services were held at Bender-Lucas & Son with Rev. C. F. Betz officiating. Interment in Oak Hill cemetery.
