Move and Improve at Our Lady of Consolation Hall
The Our Lady of Consolation parish hall is moved half a block west and gains a new veranda on the east and north. A 14 by 40 foot addition houses store rooms and dressing rooms with a west end stage. A basement kitchen 28 by 40 feet sits beneath. A modern parochial school building will rise on the former lot, with the foundation laid this fall and construction starting next spring.

Demolished Target Delays Northern Ohio Freight Route
Last Saturday near the Big Four junction freight cars collided with a passing train. A National Lime and Stone Co. crushed stone car spilled content, wrecking the target and halting the afternoon Northern passenger in Carey until around seven. The Northern bridge crew began repairs Monday to replace the target.

Eagle Gone From Park After Exchange
Last Sunday visitors sought the eagle at the park but it was gone due to high costs of upkeep and safety concerns. Mr Reynolds arranged an exchange for a five dollar cheque, and the bird was shipped to a party in Montreal last week.
Little Oletta Kirian Hosts Eighth Birthday Party
Last Thursday afternoon Little Miss Oletta Kirian entertained a party of little girls for her eighth birthday. They played games on the lawn until 3 30 then sat at a large table under the trees for ice cream cake and candy. Each guest gave a small present and Oletta received flowers and many postal cards. Attica Visitors Bring Word From Senator Karr
Mr W. Karr and his son Adelbert of Attica visited on Sunday traveling by car from Seneca county. Attica lies about forty miles east of here. Mr Karr simply started his automobile, powered it, spent part of the day calling on friends, then returned home by evening.

McCombe to vote on municipal building bonds
