Wyandot County primary slate listed with candidates

Wyandot County voters will decide Aug 14 on candidates for governor to US Senate and state offices. Names include Davey Hubbell Pickrel Sawyer and Cox Braden Coxey Fess Lamb Vorys among many others for all parties and local offices. Death of Harry Copley in North Dakota Traced to Crow Hunt

Friends and relatives learn the details of Harry Copley's death in Rock Lake North Dakota on June 25 an accidental hunting accident while pursuing crows. He left for work at Pasha elevator noon found dead next morning in a grove northeast of Pasha. Survived by wife four sons and many siblings.

Baughman Sues Burke and Nelson in Hancock County Court

A. T. Baughman files suit in Hancock County Court against Ora Burke and I. N. Nelson seeking 600 dollars as an injunction to stop selling crops and chattels during settlement of a dispute over a 156 acre farm in Blanchard Township Hardin County and 96 acres in Crawford Township Wyandot County belonging to the defendant.

Camp Sychar Opens at Mt. Vernon for 10 Days

The 64th Camp Sychar meeting begins August 9 in Mt. Vernon Ohio and runs ten days. Leading workers include Rev John L Brasher of Attala Alabama and Rev T M Anderson and Warren C McIntyre of Wilmore Kentucky with Rev W L Muller of Akron as song leader. Assisting are Miss Anna E McGhie of Akron Miss Eva Clausen of Cleveland and Miss Mary Belle Campbell of Amanda Ohio. Miles H. McLaughlin A Republican Congressional Candidate

Miles H. McLaughlin, born on a Nevada Ohio farm, built a law career in Kansas City and Denver, spent years mining in Colorado, and later returned to Nevada to farm and manage land. He led the Farmers and Merchants Bank and served as a Republican candidate for Congress in the old 13th District before defeat. He is a Methodist church member and Bible class teacher with long involvement in the grange and local public service.

Appendicitis Fatal for Mrs Fern Heaton

Mrs. Fern Heaton 51 wife of Dr J J Heaton former Seneca county health commissioner died at Mercy hospital after an emergency appendicitis operation. Born near McCutchenville June 13 1883 she lived near there before moving to Tiffin eight and a half years ago. She was survived by her husband and her parents both deceased. funeral at her residence with interment at South Bend cemetery near McCutchenville. She was a member of St Paul M E church and the McCutchenville Order of the Eastern Star.
