Good attendance at the Kiwanis meeting held Monday noon in the Galt House dining room. President S R Bame led a brief talk on Kiwanis ideals. Pastors Rev Paul R Clouser and Rev J B Shellhaas organized the program and discussed modern religious misconceptions after five weeks in Chicago. Visitor W J Newhard of Anaheim greeted the group. Next week three past presidents will lead the program.

Mrs George E McFeeley of Cleveland Dies After Illness

Mrs George E McFeeley of Cleveland died in the city hospital after a long illness dating from February. Emma Weaver McFeeley born March 3 1902 near Carey was the daughter of Joseph and Emma Weaver. She married George E McFeeley of Cleveland June 18 1927 and is survived by siblings and a sisterhood of relatives. The funeral was held at Ridgeway Pennsylvania with burial there.

Boy Hurt By Flying Metal in Upper Sandusky Incident

A 13-year-old, son of Mr and Mrs Charles Collet of three miles northeast of town, sustained a serious eye injury when a particle of metal flew into his eye while handling kings at a door. Bank embezzlers receive heavy prison terms in Arcadia case

Fred P. Conaway 38 and Clyde Wheland face long prison terms after pleading guilty to embezzlement and forgery in the Arcadia bank wreck.
