Firemen answer two calls Sunday in Carey
Carey firemen extinguished two fires Sunday afternoon within minutes of each other. At 1:40 p.m. they were summoned to the Swan Rubber Company plant where lawn mower rollers dried in a kiln caught fire with minor damage. At 2:10 p.m. an automobile at the Leo Beagle farm south of Carey burned after a cut had been made to remove parts. The car valued at $500 was ruined but the family noted the blaze smoldered unseen prior to discovery.
