Vast new Our Lady of Consolation church rises in stone and brick
The foundation is laid for a massive church to be built at Our Lady of Consolation. The basement will measure 156 by 11 feet with a seven foot ground concrete foundation. Stone comes from Bedford Indiana and brick from Upper Sandusky and Forest. Architect Amiel Ulrich of Cleveland. contractor John Burkhart. The Renaissance style aims for a grand, 60 foot main story, with towers and a roofed basement to accommodate worshippers.

Sunray Creek Coal Co supplied 94 9 10 tons of coal. Brown worked seven hours on the night line. The clerk will seek pipe and water main prices for Frederick street and Brown avenue extensions and a petition will be heard to extend lines on North Lake street in the J A Smith addition.
