Docents Keep Mission History Alive at San Juan Capistrano
The Mission San Juan Capistrano Docent Society relies on 80 active volunteers who guide tours and lead preservation projects for thousands of visitors and students each year. Members come from varied backgrounds and share a passion for telling the Mission story, its padre and indigenous histories, and the sites Serra Chapel and the 1777 kitchen.
