High speed chase ends with two arrests in car theft case
On Oct 14 at 1 45 a m Dana Point Deputy Cary Buechler spotted three males near cars. Two fled in a 2004 Toyota Sequoia driving 100 mph then south to Oceanside. CHP used spike strips and a PIT maneuver to stop the vehicle. Sunny Harvey 28 Escondido and David Raya 18 Pala Mesa were arrested for felony evading and grand theft auto. a third suspect remains at large.
