San Juan Woman Killed in I-5 Crash Near Ocean Side
A 75-year-old San Juan Capistrano woman, Nancy Ann Hull, died when a southbound 2004 Chevrolet van collided with a stalled truck on I-5 near the San Onofre scales in Oceanside. Hull’s 80-year-old husband, who drove the van, survived but was hospitalized. The truck’s transmission had failed and three dogs in the van were unharmed. The crash closed three southbound lanes for about three hours, causing a miles-long backlog.
