Girl Reserve Bible Contest To Close Saturday
The Girl Reserve Bible Story Contest will close Saturday April 14 at the Y W C A according to Miss Edith Catchall. Preliminary contests are held in clubs to select representatives for the final contest. Contestants must quote twenty five verses and tell a Bible story. the winner gets a two weeks trip to Camp Perry and other awards.

Pirate Cabaret To Feature Club Party At McKinley High
McKinley High hosts a Pirate Cabaret on April 27 uniting clubs for a first combined party. The Art league led by Miss Martha Bottman directs the event with committees from school groups. The Shakespeare club provides the program, the Math club handles refreshments, the Debate club supplies music, and the Science club runs ticket sales. Attendees are invited to dress as pirates or in nautical attire.

School Health and Dental Dept. March Report
Canton public schools health and dental departments report March findings. Of 947 pupils examined, 384 were normal, 97 had eye deficiency, and three pairs of glasses were issued. Nurses made 3447 home calls, nine children had tonsils removed. Dental clinic saw 1928 patients with 431 extractions and 64 treatments. Albaugh reports 591 teeth cleaned last month.
